Celebrating its 70th anniversary this summer, the history of Michigan’s Adventure dates back to 1956 when a group of local businessmen founded a petting zoo named Deer Park. This pin features the park’s lion mascot that adorned the logo from 1988 through 2001.

Founded in 1978 and still going strong, American Coaster Enthusiasts, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is the largest and longest-running enthusiast organization in the world with more than 7,000 members worldwide.

Announced in 1975 as the Great Lake Erie Roller, Cedar Point’s Corkscrew has become an icon with its double corkscrew inversions twisting over the heads of guests on the midway. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, Corkscrew was the first in the world to feature three inversions.

Designed by Bradley & Kaye in 1946, the Allan Herschell company purchased the rights to manufacture Little Dipper coasters in 1948. They went on to produce nearly 200 of them, 28 of which are still standing. Michigan and Ohio are home to seven remaining Little Dipper coasters.
